Julmarknad 25 November

Saturday, 25 November 14.00-19.00

We at Artten Gallery welcome you to a weekend full of inspiration and creativity. Create Christmas presents to your friends and families with your own hands. During the event, you will meet Ukrainian refugee ladies and learn from them how to knit, weave, and sew, while they will learn how to speak Swedish.

Additionally, we have invited entrepreneurs from Ukrainian farms to share their stories in local production and biodiversity, producing organic honey. Take the chance to learn about vineyards that are disapearing. Experience Ukrainian wines served as mulled wine and enhance this year’s Christmas celebration. Let’s create a memorable day together. We gladly accept donations for participating in a workshop: 150 SEK/person. Materials and fika are included.

How to find us: Enter the main door, proceed through the hall, and to the right from the elevator, take the exit toward the courtyard. On your left, you will find stairs leading down to the Artten Gallery.

The event is organised by Artten Foundation. Artten Foundation offers activities aimed at providing meaningful engagement for women and children, fostering their integration into Swedish society and the workforce. The association operates year-round, offering open and inclusive creative workshops that promote integration, knowledge, and well-being. A pivotal aspect of the Artten Foundation’s charitable endeavors involves hosting public presentations at museums, fairs, and conferences to share our impactful stories and methodologies, utilizing art and crafts to achieve our philanthropic objectives. Our exhibitions and workshops are not only engaging but also prioritize the exchange of knowledge and experiences, contributing to the empowerment of women and children.

Artten Foundation is led by Ludmila Christeseva, a Nelson Mandela Prize nominee and a winner of Impact of the Year Award by IHM Business School.
