Inspired by Art Basel Miami, Ludmila Christeseva welcomed young individuals aged 13–22 to explore artistic methods and techniques together in preparation for the art fair 2024. Participation was free of charge and 8 teenagers could join the program.
Materials and fika were included. The creative sessions took place from December 27 to January 7, every day from 14:00 to 17:00. Together, the teenagers formed and art collective and created unique artworks. The results of the 10 Days Art Marathon were featured on social media.
About the initiative: Belarusian-Swedish artist Ludmila Christeseva has always engaged young people to assist her in producing exhibitions for institutions such as the Army Museum, the Royal Armoury, the Nordic Museum, and the City of Stockholm, among others. Recognized for her artistic commitment and inspiration, she has been nominated for the Nelson Mandela Prize. In 2023, she received the Impact of the Year award from IHM Business School. The list of L. Christeseva’s projects and genuine commitments is extensive. Her primary focus has always been to bring people together for hope and peace. “The goal is to equip the younger generation with knowledge and networks to promote creativity, collaboration, and sustainable friendships”.
