Artten Gallery is proud to announce that Paola Bruna is joining us for Venetian Dating Night both as DJ and as an artist in dialogue with L.Christeseva.
Paola Bruna was trained as a painter at Konstfack and has a master of fine art.
2001 she released a solo album Stockcity Girl wich was grammy nominated in Sweden and she won a video music prize for the sinlge “Above the candystore” directed by Jonas Åkerlund. She also sang in the Teddybears single “Yours to Keep”in 1999.
Bruna was voted ‘Best dressed woman of the year’ by Elle Magazine Sweden in 2004.
During 2007–2011 she was a radio host at the public service radio Sveriges Radio at the channel Metropol on 93,8.
She has released 4 new songs the last years on Spotify and the latest song “Dreamer” has recently passed some of the old hits in popularity.

What does it mean for us Belarusian women who have been living in the country with strong feminist agenda for many years now. What are we ready to fight for and how to win the battle?

In collaboration with Swedish feminist scholars and cultural producers, we aim to explore beauty norms and conceptual mechanisms of stereotyping society with aid of artistic and academic tools and methods.
