“Collective Wardrobe” is an ongoing initiative where we exchange clothes with each other instead of buying new ones. Join us for our events and explore creative workshops on accessories to enhance your look. The project addresses climate change, promotes a sustainable future, and supports circular fashion.
As part of this initiative, we host events, workshops, and talks to encourage eco-friendly and ethical fashion choices among the youth in our community. We also organize Personal Shopping Second Hand Walks for conscious Stockholm residents and city guests. The concept fosters creativity, well-being, and collective engagement for climate action.
Explore our workshop, “Dear Dress: Weaving Stories and Memories into Patterns of Empowerment,” designed to capture and celebrate the collective experiences of stories and memories connected to garments. This workshop will explore how these personal connections can be reinvested into more sustainable and circular fashion practices.

YOUTH UNITES FOR FASHION.
“Collective Wardrobe” was first launched in a format of UNGA Fashion Week 2023 during the fall of 2023 at the Syfestivalen, which attracted more than 11,000 visitors. We aim to foster a community of changemakers for the future of fashion.
Historically, this proposal can be seen as a glimpse backward to when our grandparents were sharing and exchanging clothes. But what if this is a glimpse into the future? What will the fashion industry look like as sustainable and circular fashion begins to impact consumer behavior?
Past events include:
On Friday, May 31st, we distributed several ball dresses to those in need, which we had collected during the spring of 2023.
On Sunday, April 21st, we hosted Mend & Mind Day within the frameworks of Fashion Revolution. Together with participants of the mending workshop, we created a playlist to facilitate mending activities and published it on Spotify to inspire people to take care of their clothes.
On March 14-15th, the concept was presented and discussed at the NEST Bootcamp Start Ups within the Fashion Industry at the Textile Fashion Center in BorÄs.
On March 4th, curator Ludmila Christeseva hosted a presentation for fashion and sustainability students at Stockholm University.
On Sunday, March 3rd, the Collective Wardrobe will be launched at 5:00 pm, including a panel discussion with the fashion and art activist collective Crafts that Unite, Heal, and Last.
Curated by Ludmila Christeseva and Iryna Shalimova (Ukraine).
