Exhibition Roses of ties – recycling without borders

During Kulturnatt 2026, we will open a new exhibition, Roses of Ties – Recycling Without Borders. The project draws on experiences of war and migration, where personal stories from Ukraine to Croatia take shape in Roses of Ties brooches that can be worn close to the heart. During Kulturnatt, explore a unique handcrafted collection of brooches, and purchase a design to support Ukraine.

Roses of Ties: Workshop and presentation of the work with Ukrainian women, for whom crafts have been a healing path to cope with the trauma of war.

Roses of Ties: Workshop and presentation of the work with fashion students, led by Assistant Professor Ivana Mrčela and Associate Professor Lea Popinjac from the Department of Textile and Clothing Design at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Textile Technology.
