“Brainwashing Machine” is a group exhibition presented at Artten Gallery from March 13–14, 2025. It features leading Russian political artists in exile who examine the mechanisms of propaganda, disinformation, and visual manipulation in Russia.
Launched as a civic engagement initiative, the exhibition was jointly supported by the artists and international curators— Ludmila Christeseva and Artten Foundation are proud to be some of them.
“Brainwashing Machine” underscores how democracy is endangered when truth is distorted, dissent is silenced, and artistic voices are criminalized. The project invites critical reflection on the role of art in defending democratic values and freedom of expression.
