Järvaveckan 2026

I am honored to participate in Järvaveckan 2026 with the installation and performance A Place for a Woman.

The project explores women’s roles in democracy, care and collective memory through participatory art, conversations and shared experiences.

The project is created in collaboration with children from House of Ukraine, highlighting the importance of cultural participation, dialogue and creativity during times of war and displacement.

Since the war in Ukraine began, my artistic practice has shifted from traditional painting toward collective rituals of weaving, cooking and participatory workshops – creating spaces where people can meet, reflect and feel less alone.
