This year, we have introduced Roses of Ties as a participatory method using crafts to create dialogue, connection, and emotional resilience in times shaped by war, migration, and separation.
Through collective creative processes in Sweden and internationally, the project promotes inclusion and human connection across cultures.
For its work fostering inclusion and building bridges between people and communities becoming part of Swedish society, Roses of Ties / ARTTEN Foundation was nominated for the Nelson Mandela Prize 2026.
This became possible thanks to collective engagement and tie donations from individuals and companies supporting sustainability, inclusion, and peacebuilding.
