War breaks lives, identity, and the invisible threads that hold us together.

When the war in Ukraine began, my children whose father is Russian and whose stepmother is Ukrainian asked me: “What side do we have to choose?”

What do you answer when words fall short? I responded with Roses of Ties, with the aim of tying nations together, bringing families into dialogue, and sharing hope.

Roses of Ties are small masterpieces, handmade with love and care. Thank you to everyone who wears them close to the heart.
